The end of Fanime marks the beginning of summer, so here’s a quick nsfw sketch to kick things off.

Day 1 [Friday]:
Got one hour of sleep the night before finishing my stuff. I tried to print all my tf2 stickers when I got up at 7 am, and I didn’t finish printing until around 10… it was almost like the printer was trying everything to sabotage me. Julie picked me up and we went to the printers to get some last-minute things printed so we didn’t arrive at the convention center until around 12.
The line for pre reg pickup was ridiculous… we went to the back of the line which snaked outside and around the building, but luckily Justin came and let us know that they were letting artists move to the front of the line since the artist alley was opening in an hour.
So I ended up not having enough time to prep buttons and commission samples, plus Serain was picking up another artist at the airport, meaning I wouldn’t get my display pipes for awhile. So I ended up just setting up a small display, though I sold 2 of my dingo sniper prints. Luckily when my buddy and her friend Caffine arrived, we had a pretty badass setup with a 9-foot long gyarados hat and a ton of her prints [I only had 4]. I made some new friends, brothers Anthony and Michael, who make some badass pipe cleaner sculptures and commissioned a red Pyro.
I sold a few stickers, though I think I horrified [in a good way] some people with my baguette spy print.
Day 2 [Saturday]:
Got picked up by Nichols while he was in his Bolin costume and braved the triple merge to get to the convention center. I ran off to the Valve gathering [which was more of a TF2 gathering] with Nichols and Nicolette and took a ton of pictures. There was a bit of a mishap with some spillage underneath our table but everything escaped undamaged.
I got a few commissions, and one from a guy who was going around doing a 10-minute sketch challenge. My big sellers for the day were my buttons, especially the Thor and Loki and the Mustache!Bolin and Pabus. No large prints were sold that day. I commissioned KingKaiser [or also known as Magellan] and she came back to my table with and AWESOME inked Sniper picture.
The best part of the day was meeting two of my awesome followers, Anicofe and Teaanemone! I also met Domenicdemonic [who makes a great Sniper and Medic] and and Crevan-grietje [who is a total cutie].
Day 3 [Sunday]:
Carpooled with Nichols, Justin and Claudia in the morning. Caffine ended up lowering the price of the huge Gyarados hat to 300 dollars [originally 350] and someone actually bought it! Serain and I art traded and she defiled my sketchbook with even more porn which we put on the table for a little while as a ‘commission sample’.
Someone actually bought my baguette spy print, plus the arrow sniper one. Two of the smoke spies sold. I had fun showing this tumblr off to people who were looking at the sexy TF2 stickers I had on my display.
Sunday was my first trading day, and I traded some pins and stickers to KingKaiser for a small prints [plus she scared me while I was standing in front of my table]. I gave Edotastic a full 2-team set of my TF2 stickers in exchange for his ‘Naughty Gifts, Angry Sons’ print set. Hoosteenay did a little drawing of a sniper in exchange for some pins.
Day 4 [Monday]:
The last day of the con, so I ran around a little bit and traded off some pins and prints. I traded off a Sniper for a print from the tickinghearts and some pins for two of Blue-Fox’s Avengers pins. I slapped a sale sticker on my TF2 sitckers, pricing them at $18 for a entire set, which got me a few takers. My mini Bolin prints sold out entirely!
We had some bad luck with our pipe display which fell down twice since we had been going up and taking down display prints to sell. And then the display across from us fell down too.
The alley was closing early and I got to say goodbye to Anicofe and Teaanemone, and get my art trade from Crevan-grietje who drew me a sexy sniper. I gave KingKaiser a drawing of her fem!spy and Serain and I traded some stuff.
After the alley closed, our group ran around scavenging around empty tables. I got a nice tablecloth, a small print, and some clips. I hated saying goodbye to Serain, Michael and Anthony, but we made an agreement to sit together again next year so our group can gradually take over an entire two rows. The we went to Nichols’ house for food and a print trade.

I ended up sleeping until 3pm today and I hung up all my new prints on my door and took down the old ones. Overall, I had a lot of fun even though my sales weren’t that great, since I liked talking to people and making people happy when they found something they like. I also hung out with good friends and made some new ones, and met some great artists!

Team Fortress 2 stickers I’m selling at Fanime. They’re on average 3 inches long.
I’m selling them for $1.50 apiece, and 4 for $5. But since sales for them have been going by so slowly, I’m almost thinking of lowering them to $1… I really don’t want to though.

I’m raising the prices to $2 each because of how many problems I ran into with these.

Picked up my first round of prints from the printshop today. The colors came out darker than what was on the screen but they look really good.
I’m thinking of pricing them at $10 for 11” x 17”, $7 for 8.5” x 11”, and $3 for those little ones. I think.
If I finish all my other stuff early, I might do another round of little prints and get them done Friday morning.
